Meeting with Borrowers

In March, PMIC organized a meeting with borrowers. PMIC Sector Development Team had a detailed session on PMIC’s product verticals under Microfinance plus initiatives and upcoming challenge fund.

Mr. Saqib Siddiqui highlighted

• The importance to bundle micro insurance for their respective livestock pertinent portfolio from July 2021.
• Benefits and adjustments for clients under PMIC-KfW Renewable Energy Initiative through Microfinance – PRIME.
• Education through microfinance projects under PMIC — Opportunity International was also deliberated, borrowers showed interest in becoming part of the initiative, especially considering the demand for capital from schools during Covid-19.

PMIC team also engaged CEO of Asia Insurance to discussed livestock insurance technology. PMIC is all geared up to pilot this initiative this year.
