Enterprise Loan

Padma Lohana from Partab Gar, Mithi is about 40 years old and primary level education. A mother of 2 children, she convinced her husband to allow her to start a business. Using her savings and a loan from a PMIC funded Microfinance Institution, Padma setup her enterprise to sell accessories for women. She is able earn an average income of PKR 45,000 on a monthly basis, enabling her to meet her family expenses and ensure a comfortable lifestyle. Padma now envisages to initiate carpets and rugs business in the future.
